Hey everyone! I'm Maya and I've been tutoring for two years now. I've worked with various students to improve their abilities and self-confidence in English, Mathematics and Physics.
I'm passionate about helping students thrive in school and achieve their learning goals. I aim to fill learning gaps my students may have and boost their confidence in topics they're struggling with by tailoring my sessions to meet their unique needs, personalities and ambitions.
I like to make education fun and accessible for everyone. I also like to broaden my students' horizons by discussing the relevance of 400 year old texts in today's cultural landscape, delving deeper into the importance and relevance of generic maths concepts and incorporating my students' hobbies and interests into learning activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
2 years of tutoring experience ranging from primary school to high school level
University Education:
Currently a third year Bachelor of Nuclear Systems Engineering (Honours) at the Australian National University
