Hi, my name is Darcy! Like many others here at Wise Minds, I’m a medical student with a keen interest in learning and sharing knowledge. My tutoring style is a practical ‘do first, ask questions later’ approach, involving working through tasks or questions on the topic they are trying to learn, and teaching them concepts as they encounter them. I‘ve found that students are more engaged in learning a concept when it relates to a question or task they are currently trying to solve/complete.
Qualifications and Experience:
2 years of private tutoring experience ranging from primary school to university level
University Education:
Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience)
Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Neuroscience)
Currently a second-year Doctor of Medicine and Surgery student at the Australian National University
