Hi! I’m Anya, a third year student at the ANU, with a strong focus on biochemical and medical research. I really value making sure that my lessons are both effective and enjoyable for my students. I really value teaching students to understand science and maths, rather than just memorising it. I love to reinforce learning content with real-world applications to solidify students' understanding of different concepts.

My teaching style is flexible and adaptive, where I personalise my lessons, and constantly check-in on students’ progress to identify areas to work on, early-on. This allows me to try different approaches until I find what works best for my student.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2 years of tutoring experience, under the ACT Education Directorate, specialising in Year 11/12 Mathematics and Science Subjects (especially the BSSS curriculum)

      University Education:

• Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours)

• Focus in Biochemical and Medical Research
